Here’s Chiddy Bang: a few young guys trying to break out of Philly. Their journey of doing so — and the results they get — are chronicled in what might be one of the most epic pre-label releases ever, The Swelly Express. If you like Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Atmosphere, or Girl Talk, you’ll probably be pretty happy with Chiddy Bang.

The record’s got some pretty stellar skits, guest appearances by Black Thought of The Roots, and samples from artists you might recognize: Sufjan Stevens, Passion Pit, and MGMT.
